Although XMLog displays years using two digits they are stored as four digit values. Values less than 20 are assumed to be in the 2000's (e.g. 05 is 2005). Values greater than or equal to 20 are assumed to be in the 1900's (e.g. 98 is 1998).
The default format for dates is mm/dd/yy but can be changed to dd/mm/yy by choosing Options/Log Fields and setting Date Format. Here's a list of modes recognized by XMLog:
To define other modes see Defining Custom Modes.
Fractional power values like .01 or 2.5 are only supported in log files created with XMLog version 5.02 or later. If you have a log file created with an earlier version of XMLog and you would like to use this feature choose File/Copy File to... to create a new log containing all the entries in your current log.
Note that the "Time Off", "Satellite Name", "Satellite Mode", "Contest In", and "Contest Out" fields are not displayed by default. To display these fields choose Options/Log Fields..., pick the Log Fields tab and set the Show Time Off Field, etc.
If the QSL Sent field is non-blank the QSL status for this QSO is "outstanding". If the "QSL Received" field is non-blank, the QSL status for this QSO is "confirmed". Use ? for these fields if you've sent or received a card but you don't know the date.
These fields are used to track the confirmation status for QSOs that are being tracked by the ARRL's "Logbook of The World" system. If the "LoTW Received" field is non-blank you can optionally have this QSO considered to be "confirmed". See the LoTW section for details.
These fields are used to track the confirmation status for QSOs that are being tracked by the eQSL electronic QSL system.
